Elena Beani

Elena is a developmental neuropsychomotor therapist, with a Masters degree in Rehabilitation Science and a PhD in Neuroscience. Since 2012 she is collaborating with IRCCS Fondazione Stella Maris on several research projects, at the Department of Developmental Neuroscience, specifically in the INNOVATE Lab (Innovative Technologies in Neurorehabilitation). She has had a position in the “Advanced Therapies for Children with Cerebral Palsy” Unit and she currently has a position as Junior Researcher at the University of Pisa. Both her clinical and research activities are specifically focused on upper limb function of children with CP. She is a certified rater of both AHA and BoHA.
