Johanna Kembe

Johanna Kembe is an occupational therapist working at Astrid Lindgren’s Children’s Hospital, Karolinska University Hospital, in Stockholm, Sweden since 2014. Her primary clinical focus is on hand function and early detection of infants at risk of cerebral palsy enrolled in follow-up programs within the child neurology and neonatal units. Johanna is a PhD candidate at the Department of Women’s and Children’s Health, Karolinska Institutet. She is developing the screening Hand Assessment for Infants (s-HAI), a screening version of the original HAI. The s-HAI is a screening tool that can be used to identify infants at risk of unilateral CP both in a clinical setting and remotely. Johanna is a new teacher for the HAI in Europe.
